From 12–14 May, we had the pleasure of participating in China Beauty Expo in Shanghai – one of the most important events for the global beauty, cosmetics and FMCG industries.
The exhibition brings together manufacturers, brand owners, distributors, suppliers of raw materials, packaging and production technologies to discuss the future of the industry and the latest trends shaping products and brands worldwide.
One of the Largest Industry Events in the World
This year's edition of China Beauty Expo was held under the theme “30 & Beyond, Rise with Innovation” and brought together more than 3,200 exhibitors from around the world. Among them were over 1,500 companies representing the OEM/ODM, ingredients, packaging and manufacturing technology sectors.
The scale of the event was truly impressive. However, for us, the greatest value came not from the numbers, but from the opportunity to engage directly with business partners and gain first-hand insights into the trends that will shape the market in the years ahead.
Conversations About the Future of Products and Brands
During the exhibition, we presented Marba’s portfolio of household care products, bath and personal care solutions, as well as private label projects developed for international partners.
Many discussions focused on topics that are increasingly influencing consumer purchasing decisions and brand strategies, including:
- eco-friendly products,
- innovative product formats,
- highly effective and concentrated formulations,
- solutions supporting sustainability,
- product personalisation,
- flexible private label cooperation models.
One of the most visible trends was the growing demand for solutions that combine high performance with environmental responsibility and convenience of use.

Participating in events such as China Beauty Expo provides a broader perspective on the market. While consumer preferences vary between countries and regions, many expectations remain universal.
Quality, safety, transparency and products designed to meet specific consumer needs are becoming increasingly important. At the same time, manufacturers and brand owners are looking for partners who can respond quickly to changing trends and support the development of new product categories.
