Another edition of the PLMA World of Private Label International Trade Show in Amsterdam is behind us – one of the most important global events dedicated to private label products and partnerships.
This year marked our 15th participation in the event. For Marba, PLMA is much more than a key date in the industry calendar. It is a place where we can observe market developments, strengthen long-term relationships, explore new opportunities and discuss the future of the FMCG industry with partners from around the world.
The Leading Event for the Private Label Industry
Organised by the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), the exhibition has been bringing together manufacturers, retailers and business partners from across the globe for nearly 40 years. Every year, Amsterdam becomes the meeting point for thousands of industry professionals shaping the future of private label products.
For Marba, attending PLMA is not only about presenting our capabilities and portfolio. It is also an opportunity to engage directly with existing partners, better understand changing market expectations and exchange insights with experts representing different FMCG categories.
Private Label Today Is About More Than Manufacturing
Not so long ago, private label products were often associated primarily with competitive pricing. Today, the market looks very different.
The conversations held during PLMA clearly demonstrated that customers expect much more from manufacturing partners than efficient production alone. Product innovation, flexibility, speed of implementation, sustainability and the ability to create long-term value together have become key factors in successful partnerships.
This is why modern private label cooperation is increasingly built on partnership rather than production alone.
Marba’s Portfolio on Display in Amsterdam
During this year’s exhibition, we showcased products and solutions from Marba’s key business categories.
Visitors to our stand had the opportunity to explore our portfolio, including:

- laundry capsules and tablets,
- dishwasher capsules and tablets,
- bath and personal care products for children and adults,
- air fresheners,
- the EcoCleox range of eco-friendly cleaning products,
- private label solutions developed for international partners.
Many discussions also focused on emerging product technologies, changing consumer expectations and the future of categories driven by convenience, performance and sustainability.

Although PLMA lasts only a few days, the conversations initiated there often lead to partnerships and projects that continue for months or even years.
For us, the exhibition remains an important place to meet long-standing partners, establish new business relationships and discuss future opportunities. Direct conversations continue to be one of the most effective ways to understand customer needs and respond to the rapidly evolving demands of the market.
